Her childhood dream finally became reality in 2009, when Shannon decided to give up on her full-time job as a social worker to pursue her wildest dreams . Although Shannon started late in her career with entertainment, her talents took her further than most would have in the short span of years. With her ability to host in English, Chinese, Cantonese and Hokkien, along with her bubbly and comfortable personality carved by her previous years as a social worker, Shannon is a natural in communicating with people from all walks of life, complementing her skill as a host for all types of occasions including the heartlanders and not to forget, our friends from around the world. Today, Shannon is a professional host who has dabbled in theatre, television, film, radio, voiceovers, advertisements, events, modelling, singing and many more. Besides her heavy involvement in entertainment, Shannon is also a freelance trainer and facilitator for life-skills and motivational workshops. Her strong clientele includes Volvo, Amore Fitness, People’s Association, Nestle, Health Promotion Board, Singapore Armed Forces, Loreal, Truimph, F&N, Sony etc.
Shannon love watching musicals when she was child, and often fantasized herself as one of those performers acting, singing and dancing onstage.
