Jazz pianist/vocalist Ywenna Carollin displays a gutsy versatility in several genres of music and has shared stage with some of the well-known artists such as Greg Henderson (Australia), Jamie Wilson (Australia), Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra’s flutist Sonia Croucher (Australia), saxophonist Nicole Dufel (Australia), Marco Alonso ( Cuba ), John Kaizan Neptune (USA/Japan), Gabriel Evens (USA), Chris Stalk (France), Natasha Patamapongs (Thailand), Kamaya (Indonesia), Tengku Ryo (Indonesia), drummer Ed Layman (Singapore), Malaysia’s best drummer Lewis Pragasam (Malaysia), pianist Tay Cher Siang(Malaysia) , drummer John Thomas (Malaysia), guitarist Jose Thomas (Malaysia), Charlie Jung Band (South Korea), Akasha (Malaysia),Malaysian Idol winner Jaclyn Victor, Hannah Tan (Malaysia), Zhuang Xue Zhong (Malaysia), Singapore idol Sylvester Sim, Singapore jazz legend Louis Soliano and Zainal Abidin (Malaysia).

With years of performance experiences under her belt, Ywenna is no stranger to Malaysia’s local music scene. Regularly performed at various Jazz venus in Kuala Lumpur; Bangkok Jazz, Groove Junction, No Black Tie, Urban Attic, La Bodega, The Apartment, Laundry Bar; hotels ( Impiana hotel, Istana Hotel, Mandarin Oriental hotel), and special events (awards, launches, dinners and weddings), she even showcased her talent in front of Malaysia’s Dato Sri Datuk Najib, accompanied various Malaysian local artists such as Hunny Madu, Sufiah Noor ( top 12 finalist of Malaysian Idol ), Joanna Bessey Dina ( Malaysian Idol runner up). She has also performed for large events hosted by companies such as Great Eastern, Blue Scope Steel, Telecom, Samsung, CPA Conference, and etc. Her recent vocal stints including Parkson Grand Sale radio jingle and singing back up vocals for local chinese artist Reno.
